An optimized audio content layout (including composers) facilitates quick and convenient browsing, allowing you to focus solely on enjoying your music library. FireStream supports lossless audio streaming and transcoding only when necessary.
FireStream simplifies streaming your media like never before. Just power on your UPnP/DLNA media device, and FireStream will promptly discover it. Using the Devices tab, you can fine-tune advanced per-device transcoding, network, and quality settings, granting you complete control over each device. FireStream also incorporates a built-in authorization system, allowing you to restrict access to specific devices.

Note: Users with Music or Photos libraries stored on an external drive or network share may need to add that drive/share to Content > Folders in FireStream, stop, quit, and restart FireStream to ensure the content is accessible.
Note 2: To stream all Photos content, “Download Originals to this Mac” must be selected in Photos Preferences if using iCloud Photos. Otherwise, much of your content may not appear in FireStream because it’s not available locally on your machine.
Note 3: If you’re using more than one Photo Library, make sure your preferred Photo Library is set as the System Photo Library in Photos Preferences. Only the System Photo Library will be visible in FireStream.
