Presentation Prompter
macOS / Photo et vidéo
Presentation Prompter is a teleprompter and helps you deliver successful presentations. It is built for live performers, newscasters, actors, public speakers, narrators, and anyone who has ever used cue cards or read from a script. Write or import scripts, then scroll them smoothly on one or more screens.
– Smooth scrolling, GPU–accelerated and tuned for particular hardware.
– Precision speed controls let you accommodate any speaking rate or text size.
– Dual–screen prompting displays your script on a second screen. Optionally flip the script only on the other screen if you’re using a mirror enclosure.
– Teleprompter operators can see exactly what the talent sees on their own screen, resulting in better communication between the operator and talent.
– Minimize talent eye movement with one–click margins.
– Maintain your reading position with an adjustable focus arrow.
– Never run over your allotted time! Show a clock and remaining time estimate below your script for time–awareness.
– Prompt mode prevents accidental edits, screen saver activation, and other interference while prompting.
– Anchor sections of interest and jump to them instantly with bookmarks. Great for rehearsing a difficult part or managing any large script.
– Marked Text allows you to mark script problems while prompting without stopping, so you can fix the script later.
– Blank the second screen to obscure edits from talent or cut light from a prompter screen. Or display a logo or instruction image over the blank.
– Control the prompter using your keyboard and trackpad, or use a dedicated remote or controller.
– Write and modify scripts in a dedicated editing environment. Highlight speaker names, use a special style for difficult–to–pronounce words, and space lines perfectly to make them easier to read. Use any combination of fonts, colors, and spacing for readability and emphasis.
– Compatible with MS Word and other common file formats to quickly get existing content into Presentation Prompter.
– Export a PDF with layout-exact content as it appears in Prompt mode (the same line-endings and wrapping), reflecting your current settings.
– Print scripts for backup or rehearsal purposes. Ink saver features improve readability and print time.
Quoi de neuf dans la dernière version ?
– Adds Quick Zoom to facilitate editing. When toggled, it zooms out your document revealing more text to edit. This reduces scrolling and gives you more context and space. It automatically toggles off for Prompt mode.
– Adds a Quick Zoom scale amount to the General settings.
– Adds an Auto Blank to Hide Edits item under the Prompter > Blanking Options menu. When Auto Blank is on, entering Edit mode turns on Blanking and entering Prompt mode turns off Blanking.
– Updates the Speed slider. The speed is bolder and easier to read, the speed displays in Icon Only toolbar mode, and negative speeds display in red.
– Removes support for unique underline colors (like a red underline on blue text, etc.). All underlines now inherit the color of their text. Omitting a long technical explanation, this fixes some recurring problems with underlines.
– Removes the Remove Underline Colors menu item, since it is no longer necessary.
– Fixes issues with color handling for invert colors, the insertion point, and color internals.
– Fixes issues with Apply Default Style when applying it to a selection. Previously, it would not correctly apply the default style because it over-eagerly tried to preserve unique attributes.
– Converts the Quick Look plugin to an extension. This change is required to support Quick Look on “Sequoia” and future releases.
– Includes other minor improvements (adds a Mark Text shortcut for Prompt mode, improves internals, etc.).
– Updates Brazilian Portuguese localization.
