StayFocused dims your desktop so only what you’re working on stays clear. Everything else fades behind a customizable shade - on one screen or across every display.
How it works
Turn focus mode on from the menu bar. StayFocused places a subtle overlay on your displays. The app or window you’re using stays bright, the rest of your desktop is dimmed so distractions fade into the background.
Built for multi-monitor setups
Use a laptop and an external display? StayFocused treats the display where you’re working as your focus screen and fully dims the others. Switch monitors and the shade follows - no manual setup each time.
You stay in control
• Per-display opacity - Set dim strength for each monitor independently
• Click to focus - Click any window to bring it above the shade
• Menu bar only - No Dock icon; stays out of your way
• Launch at login - Start focused as soon as you sit down
