Plantings is a database to store all you plant information. Use drag and drop to add a picture to your plant record. Type in the search field. If the plant common name and veriety is not found, the "+" button will enable allowing you to add the new plant.
Plantings also syncs with with the cloud so you can access your plants on all your Macs. You plant database is backed up to the cloud.

Adding a comma after the common name assumes a variety. For example "Hosta, Brims Cup" would be common name "Hosta" and variety "Brims Cup".
