Calvert Video Tools
macOS / Utilitaires
When this App was first developed, I need to create an mp4 video clip and optionally remove the audio for digital signage. Importing an entire, long, video into an editing App just to make one or two clips while detaching and deleting the audio takes way too long. A buddy of mine had the same problem with making his demo reel (he is a stuntman). We needed a really easy to use App that would make the clips without the need to use a video editing App. So I wrote the original App called the Calvert Clipper. No matter why you need to clip video (and possibly remove the audio) your workflow can be more than 10x faster.
Then I purchased a low cost projector to showcase our videos. Only to discover that a lot of H.264 encoded MP4 would not play on the projector. Our group would send me a video and the projector could not play it! Then I discovered that if I transcoded the video to H.265 (HEVC) it would always play. It seems later encodings work better on low cost projectors.
So I added Video Conversion to the App and renamed it as the Calvert Video Tools.
Then some folks noticed the projector had only mediocre audio and some videos were not loud enough. So I added a feature to adjust the audio volume in addition to converting the video format.
Now the Calvert Video Tools does everything I need, and maybe, everything you need. That is why you should definitely give it a try.
