Easy Unzip is a focused archive utility for macOS. Version 3.0 introduces a new SwiftUI workspace, a modern multi-format archive engine, batch tasks, Dock progress, Finder actions, and integrity reports.
Key features:
- Create ZIP and 7z archives, including password-protected archives.
- Extract ZIP, 7z, RAR/RAR5, TAR, GZIP, BZIP2, and XZ files.
- Run batch compression and extraction with per-task progress.
- Track active jobs directly from the Dock.
- Use Finder Services and Finder Extension actions for right-click workflows.
- Exclude common macOS metadata and generate integrity reports.
- Keep passwords task-only; Easy Unzip does not store archive passwords.
RAR support is extraction-focused. Creating RAR archives is not supported.
