This app does one thing really well!
Generates password strings for you… straight into the clipboard, its UI has been adjusted to allow for ONE CLICK password creation.
How does this work?
It sits in your menu-bar… and allows you to "click to generate a password in your clipboard".
It has “Power User Mode”
This will turn off the standard ‘show menu’ function and generate passwords direct to clipboard when clicking on the menu icon.
- Option-click the menu icon to do this outside of power user mode.
- Option-click the menu icon to show the drop down menu when in power user mode.
It has a number of ‘features’ for the password.
You can select from various character sets to include in your password
• Uppercase
• Lowercase
• Numeric
• Other character sets include:
- OWASP *Recommended* (A complete set of non-alpha numeric characters as recommended by OWASP)
- Basic (The most compatible character set outside of alpha-numeric)
- Usual (The most compatible character set used with online services)
- Usual++ (The most popular and still compatible character set used with online services)
You can also set your password length as desired.
