Stravup
macOS / Utilitaires
Stravup is a friendly macOS companion for athletes who want their GPS activities on Strava® without the fuss.
Plug in your device, and Stravup finds new FIT, GPX or TCX files, lets you review them when you want to, or uploads them quietly in the background when you do not.
FEATURES:
• Works with any device that mounts as an external drive and writes Strava®-compatible FIT, GPX or TCX files.
• Spots new activities as soon as you reconnect your device — your queue stays focused on what still needs uploading.
• Review before upload: rename activities, set the sport type and choose your gear — or turn on Auto upload and let Stravup handle the rest in the background.
• Register and link your devices so Stravup only watches your activity folders, not someone else's when they connect to your Mac.
• Keep your athlete profile in sync: update weight and FTP from Stravup, and log nutrition in detailed or simpler relative form.
• Body metrics trend charts help you see weight, FTP, nutrition and activity energy over time when you log regularly.
• Gear reminders on the Gear page — set a distance and/or date so bikes, shoes and kit get serviced before you forget.
• Optional local backup of activity files for extra peace of mind.
• Optionally delete files from your device after upload (and backup) to keep it tidy. • Launch at login so Stravup is ready the moment you plug in.
GETTING STARTED:
• Launch Stravup and authorise the connection with your STRAVA® profile.
• Connect your Garmin® or compatible device via USB and confirm it appears in Finder as an external volume.
• In Settings, open Your devices and choose Register device.
• Click Bookmark activity folder and select the folder that holds your activity files (often named 'activities'). Stravup monitors that folder and its sub-folders automatically.
• Registering a device saves a small stravup_id file in the activities folder, linking that device to your Stravup profile.
• Choose whether to edit activities before upload, or enable Auto upload for a hands-off flow.
• Decide whether Stravup should start at login, back up uploaded files locally, and delete them from the device when done.
• Use the Weight and Nutrition buttons in the toolbar to log body metrics; open Athlete metrics for trend charts.
NOTES:
• Stravup compares device files against your recent Strava® activities so the list stays focused on what's new.
• It is worth clearing old activity files from your device every so often.
• Stravup is designed for single-user use on your Mac.
• After a long sleep, Stravup may not rescan automatically — use Scan now on the Settings page if needed.
• Your data stays on your Mac; Stravup does not operate its own servers for your athlete information.
Built for GPS sports devices and any recorder that writes Strava®-compatible files to a volume on your Mac.
Made possible with the help of the STRAVA® API v3.
