The app connects to existing clinical back-end systems, including hospital information systems and imaging systems (PACS), and displays the relevant data for each patient on the IOS tablet in a clear and easy-to-read format.
eMed provides the following key features:
•Mobile access to patient lists as maintained in existing clinical systems with filtering functions for improved workflows
•Entry of clinical data supported by text modules as well as image and sound files
•Review of images from X-rays and CTs (not intended for diagnostic use), as well as documents and clinical orders
•Creation of individual photo albums for patients, also across PACS studies
•Retrieval of the patient’s latest vital signs and lab results
•Integration of additional information, such as Internet and intranet content, that relates to the context, as well as HTML5 applications
