COPDPredict is a CE-marked smart digital monitoring solution from NEPeSMO that allows individuals living with chronic obstructive airways disease (COPD) and their healthcare team to predict the onset of exacerbations (otherwise known as acute episodes or flare-ups) and prompt early intervention, thus preventing unnecessary emergency department visits and hospitalisations.
COPDPredict™ is for use by individuals with a diagnosis of COPD with greater than or equal to 1 acute exacerbation of their COPD per year.
COPDPredict™ allows you to input, collect, log and track trend data from blue-tooth connected suitable devices such as lung monitors in a home setting to share with a healthcare provider by sending data to a secure clinician-facing website.
COPDPredict™ uses a combination of your-reported wellbeing scores, lung function and biomarker levels to generate your own personal health profile. Exacerbation prediction algorithms determine the potential risk of an exacerbation of COPD based on your data inputs. Your healthcare team can then provide you with the tailored support and intervention you require closer to home. You can also communicate regularly and securely with your healthcare team using the within-App messaging facility.
In addition, COPDPredict™ offers you a suite of digital educational material on healthy living, inhaler technique and pulmonary rehabilitation to help you self-manage your COPD and remain in control.
COPDPredict™ is registered with MHRA and is OWASP and DSP toolkit compliant.
NEPeSMO is a UK-registered healthcare technology company founded by respiratory physicians who have worked with patients and clinicians to develop and deliver smart user-friendly self-monitoring solutions for personalised respiratory care and treatment.
At the moment NEPeSMO interacts directly with healthcare providers to offer the COPDPredict™ service under a software-as-a-service agreement. If you are an individual living with COPD and experience exacerbations of COPD and wish to use COPDPredict, you can only do this if your healthcare team has signed up to our services and has registered you as a patient.
Please do contact us for further information on info@nepesmo.com or visit our website www.nepesmo.com where you can view what COPDPredict™ does and how it works.
