DAWAI APP is a Mobile Health App that acts as a patient companion for their day to day medication needs. This app is a 360 degree virtual pharmacist having unique and efficient features from medication scheduling, reminders, side effects cause detector up to advisory.
Why DAWAI?
We believe that awareness and knowledge are first line of therapy and that every patient must have a full understanding of diseases, medication, dose, frequency, interactions and duration of therapy.
Any incomplete or inaccurate information on medication related matters lead to a failure to follow the instructions in addition to a poor adherence on medication intake.
Thus, Dawai App delivers right understanding on medications that are tailored specifically to patient needs.
How does DAWAI work?
Dawai App consists of five main features that are patient friendly and aim on improving the patient’s commitment to their personal health.
The main features are as following:
Reminder Feature: A notification is sent to the patient for his medication intake time and refill time. This allows them to stay on track with their medications and insuring a accurate intake.
Measurements Feature: This feature allows patients to measure, compare and report their blood glucose and blood pressure outcomes with their healthcare providers.
Medication Information: The app generates easy to understand and up-to-date medication information tackling them in both Arabic and English.
Side Effects Feature: This original feature allows patients to know the side effects of the medication they are taking. This feature was developed to comfort the patient and allow him to detect the causes of him enduring certain side effects.
Connect to Pharmacist: We decided to create a space for patient to connect 24/7 with an anonymous yet real pharmacist to ask them about their medication concerns.
As such, we assure that Dawai is the Reliable Knowledge Companion that allows patients to be more aware and in control of their health situation.
