The Emergency Department Patient App (ED Patient App) has been developed by the University of British Columbia (UBC) as part of a research study to:
•Enable emergency patients to get alerts when it is their turn to be seen by a doctor at participating emergency departments
•Search for resources on the BC Emergency Medicine Network (BCEMN) to help patients better understand common medical conditions and
•Enable patients to give feedback on their experience with the app and their emergency visit experience.
