The target audience for this app is clinical staff members. Users can only obtain an account by contacting Volk directly to assist with setting up login for application.
The app can be used in either offline or online mode.
•'Offline mode' can be used without logging in, however provides limited functionality such as adding basic details and scheduling appointments for patients.
•'Online mode' allows camera technicians to use the app in conjunction with Pictor Plus fundus camera to capture retina images from patients and submit images to experts such as ophthalmologists and optometrists to review further in web portal.
The app enables camera technician(s) to view their scheduled appointments on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. The technician can add new patients, schedule appointments, reschedule appointments and request time off thru the app
If there are no appointments on the current day, the next available appointment will be shown on the home screen. Tapping on the appointment will load the patient name and appointment schedule and address. Patient can be called via the ‘call’ button. For non-ambulatory patients, the camera technician can also visit patient’s home navigating via the ‘direction’ button.
Important: this application is intended to be used with Pictor Plus fundus camera to transfer fundus images to within the storage capacity of your iOS device. The minimum version requirement for iOS devices are Apple iOS version - 11.0 or above.
