This app has been developed in conjunction with Manchester Foundation Trust and Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust. It provides easy-to use medicines and dietary advice for healthcare professionals and patients who are dealing with mineral bone disease (MBD) caused by chronic kidney disease (CKD).

The app provides the information in three key sections:
-Dietary guidance

-Medication advice

-Clinical view

The dietary guidance section offers patients advice on:

-Eating out and Takeaways

-Foods to avoid
-Foods to eat on a low phosphate diet

The medications section covers:

-Vitamin D2/D3

-Phosphate binders

-Alphacalcidol

-Cinacalcet

-Calcium supplements

The clinical view offers more detailed analysis and algorithms to help in detection as well as recent clinical studies.
