The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) vision is that all children with epilepsy should carry important and the most up to date information about their epilepsy condition. They call this the Epilepsy Passport.

My Epilepsy Record (MER) is just a digital version of the Epilepsy Passport which is easier to update and is a more practical way to implement the RCPCH’s vision.

My Epilepsy Record enables the doctor not only to easily create and amend the passport but also keep a track of the amendments. It is also easy for the patients/carers to present in a digital format to healthcare professionals whenever and wherever required.

Esh Solutions Limited Jersey has developed My Epilepsy Record. This Web Application only enables doctors to create and amend the Epilepsy Passport.

There is a dedicated app with easily browsable data of epilepsy records for the patient and a web based back-end program for the healthcare professionals. The data is instantly updated in real time when the doctor updates the hospital records. It stores the general information of the epilepsy patient such as:
