The MyODV Doctor app is a convenient platform for US trained, board certified physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants to connect with patients all over the United States and several international countries. In the MyODV Doctor app, our physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants are called “providers” collectively.
Our providers see patients on the MyODV Doctor app 24 hours a day and 7 days per week. Each appointment slot is 20 minutes but can end earlier if the medical encounter is straightforward. Our providers treat minor, unexpected illnesses like pediatric ear infections, cough, sore throat, sinus infections, bronchitis, urinary tract infections, sexually transmitted diseases, rashes, mild asthma, and many other non-emergency conditions.
We do not see pregnant women, infants less than 6 months of age or any person with a serious illness on the MyODV Doctor app. Some examples of serious illnesses include, but are not limited to:
• Chest pain
• Loss of consciousness
• Trauma
• Abdominal pain
• Shortness of breath
• Psychiatric complaints
• Drug addiction
MyODV providers refill patients’ regular medication for 90 days at a time with no refills. Our providers do not prescribe any pain, anxiety, sleeping or ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) pills.
