About Pedia App
It’s the first professional app specially designed for pediatricians(house officers ,residents ,and professors) in the middle east that provide most of the diagnostic tools and calculations that pediatricians meet in their daily practice in an easy ,quick and accurate way.
Pedia app is unique by its sophisticated and multiple features which are not present in any other app ,meeting the requirements of all pediatricians.
This app may be considered as a must have (E – handbook) for all pediatricians.
Pedia app consist of features :
1- Growth curves: weight for age, length for age, head circumference for age and weight for length
Based on CDC growth curves
2- Jaundice curves : based on AAP curves
Doctors can plot the bilirubin level and can detect the proper management of this patient either phototherapy or exchange transfusion
3- Vital signs: blood pressure, respiratory rate and heart Rate
detect normal range for every age group
there are special charts for blood pressure to detect whether child blood pressure is normal , prehyhypertensive or hypertensive.
4- ER:
•provides dose calculator for resuscitation and emergency drugs and infusions
•Also provides size of equipments used un ER according to the age of the child.
5- Medical calculator: provides easy and quick calculations for commonly used equations and scores
6- Drug calculator:
•Provides data about the drug dose, interactions, adverse events, contraindications beside calculator to help doctor calculate the dose easily and accurately .Reference in this part: Harriet lane handbook.
•There is also section for drug adjustment in renal failure .
7- Videos: There is links for demonstrative videos for important procedures that we commonly use in pediatric practice
8-Announcement: it contains important links for books,drugs, valuable medical websites and nearby conferences
9-Vaccination:there is vaccination schedules and important info on every vaccine.
10-Favorite button: doctor can add all his favorites in 1 place.
