PsychoPharm Research
iPhone / Medecine
This app presents interactive versions of medication decision support trees of psychopharmacology. These medication decision support trees are developed by the Psychopharmacology Algorithm Project at the Harvard Medical School Department of Psychiatry, South Shore Program (Founded by Dr. David Osser / Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School). The purpose of this app is to facilitate use of these algorithms for educational purpose. The app also utilizes a decision-support app framework, created by Dr. Joongheum Park (Columbia University Medical Center), called SmarterMD.
The research app is designed to help users share ideas and collect more of evidence to assess the potential of decision-support softwares, which helps physicians make better decisions at the point-of-care. Please do not use the app to diagnosis, monitor, or treat any medical conditions. The current app will be presented at American Psychiatric Association's 2017 Meeting.
