This pharmacology app offers easy access to select basic information (pharmacology and action, uses, contraindications and cautions) of drugs commonly used by midwives, with a special focus on the designated drugs, along with common treatment algorithms and best practices for optimal medication prescribing.
This app is intended as a reference tool for clinicians and is not intended to be the sole source of drug and health information. Proper use of this tool requires awareness of your client’s clinical circumstances and needs and values, as well as familiarity with your local circumstances and standards of practice.
