
Vanderbilt Lifeflight

Vanderbilt LifeFlight is a comprehensive resource tool intended primarily for use by emergency first responders, fire and EMS agencies, 911 dispatch centers, law enforcement and hospitals in the Vanderbilt LifeFlight service area throughout Middle, East and West Tennessee and Southern Kentucky. The advanced user (with approval from the local EMS authority) can instantly alert the Vanderbilt LifeFlight communications center with a flight request, sending GPS location and other vital information directly to the computer aided dispatch software.
Registration is required for all users. All users, once registered, will have access to the basic functions of the app. Only users approved by their local EMS authority will have access to the advanced features with the ability to request a helicopter transport.
The Vanderbilt LifeFlight tool provides additional functions including:
- Push notifications on training and other information
- Hospital directory, searchable by name
- LifeFlight training calendar
- Landing zone guide

Version 1.12.8 introduces the following fixes among other quality of life and security improvements.
- App does not send complete LZ info, causing a landing zone display issue on the CAD.
- Random crashes when clicking on some UI elements overlaying the map.
