Haru - Astronomers' Toolkit

Haru is a practical tool that every astronomy enthusiast should have. 7Timers! mainly provides weather forecasts designed for astronomical use. The forecast covers up to 3 days and includes parameters that astronomers care about, such as seeing and transparency.
In addition to the 7Timers! feature, the app also provides a variety of useful information.
Current main features include:
- 7Timers!
- East Asia satellite cloud imagery
- United States satellite cloud imagery
- Real-time solar images
- “Sun Position” Notification Center widget (fully redesigned)
- “Moon Phase” Notification Center widget (fully redesigned)
- Create and share GIF animations from satellite images and solar images (You can also convert the GIF animations into videos for sharing.)
Note: Creating GIF animations requires downloading a relatively large number of files. If you are using cellular data or a metered connection, please pay attention to data usage when viewing GIF animations.
Haru for macOS has been discontinued. Haru will be updated to a Universal App in the future. Please stay tuned.

About altitude correction for 7Timers! data:
The app automatically applies altitude correction based on the elevation of your location. If you need to override the default correction, please add a new location and manually enter the altitude. For 2 km correction, set the altitude to 2000 m. For 7 km correction, set the altitude to 7000 m.
Note: Starting from this update, Haru no longer supports iOS versions earlier than iOS 17. If you would like to continue receiving updates, please upgrade your device to the latest version of iOS.
