Howfen Radio is a community radio station with a difference, we broadcast over the world wide web and unlike other community stations, we broadcast all year round.
It is run completely by volunteers and we have a variety of shows featuring music from all the decades from the '60's right through to modern classics.
Our presenters vary in ages from our youngest who started at 11, right through to 65 years old.
We are constantly on the lookout for new volunteers to help us run the station and help us put on roadshows at local community and fundraising events.
We also put on a small annual music festival at the end of the summer which is free to enter with a variety of acts to suit all tastes.
