The advanced capabilities and high computational capacity of today's tablets and phones make it possible for music player applications running on these devices to be much more than just simple music players. It has become possible to replace expensive hi-fi equipment and subscription server applications with a cheap and easily upgradable application, along with the existing mobile devices and the iRender application, making music listening very convenient and flexible, even on a simpler system. All of this can be integrated into either a home hi-fi or desktop headphone system. The iRender application transforms our iPad into a smart digital engine called a Smart Audio Render/Streamer. It can enhance our existing beloved system with features that would otherwise require expensive component replacements or system transformations.
