The Big Screen: Our info page has been completely redesigned into a single, unified view.

Rolling Credits: Experience our "slow roll"—credits now scroll like a movie, with tap-to-pause and an infinite loop so no one gets missed.

Landscape Power: Sideways listening? We’ve added a dedicated landscape layout with a 70/30 split to keep your controls and credits perfectly in view.

iPad Optimized: We’ve scaled and rearranged the UI for the iPad. No more fiddly controls! Just a natural, spacious layout that feels right on the larger screen.

"Now Playing" Improvements

The Mystery Bubble: Track your progress with a permanent time bubble just below the album art, showing elapsed time and duration for both recorded tracks and live DJ sets.

Lock Screen Intel: When Spud is spinning tunes, the same time info from the Mystery Bubble now appears right on your lock screen.

DJ Name Fixer: No more weird symbols! We’ve added a descrambler to fix Unicode errors in DJ names.

Breathing Room: Layout tweaks for smaller devices (like the iPhone SE and 13) ensure your play/pause buttons are always easy to tap.

A Modern CarPlay Experience

New Navigation: A modern tab-bar system lets you switch between browsing stations and the "Now Playing" screen without ever getting "trapped" in a menu.

Smarter Metadata: Real-time track updates now flow directly into your car's display with rock-solid reliability.

Faster Recovery: We’ve streamlined network recovery. If your signal drops, the app works instantly to get the music back the second you're back online—while intelligently backing off in "no signal" zones to protect your battery.

Connection Banners: If the stream hiccups, a new floating banner keeps you informed of the reconnection status in real-time.

Under the Hood

Leaner & Meaner: We replaced several bulky third-party libraries with custom-built code, making the app lighter and more responsive.
