Tinsel & Tunes Yule Log
Apple TV / Musique
When we say we're roasting our chestnuts on an open fire, we really mean it. For 20 years Tinsel & Tunes has been the world's favorite Christmas radio station, broadcasting every November & December.
Our Apple TV app is as simple as it gets! We show you a gorgeous crackling fire and stream our award winning holiday music mix. That's it.
Remember, our broadcast only takes place in November & December, so there won't be any music January - October.
A few fun things you can do with your remote:
*Play or pause the Christmas music (ingenious, right?)
*Control the volume of the crackling fire with 3 options: High, Low, Mute
*Show and hide the menu on the right side of the screen
Every song we play is shown tastefully in the upper lefthand corner of the screen.
You can even just watch the fire without the music if you want to. We told you we made it easy.
If you love what you hear, download our iOS app in the App Store for your iPhone, or visit our website: www.tinselandtunes.com.
About Tinsel & Tunes and the music you'll hear:
Tinsel & Tunes is a Christmas music radio channel that broadcasts yearly from November 1st through January 1st. The format is the brainchild of former MakRadio.com creator Mak McKeehan and broadcasts from a digital studio in Nashville, Tennessee. Tinsel & Tunes is syndicated by Nexus Radio in Chicago, Illinois.
The unique blend of rock, pop, jazz, classical and classic Christmas music was created to provide the perfect holiday mix for both active and passive listening. The lack of traditional “cheesey” songs is intentional. This well balanced programming is meant to entertain, enlighten and engage the listener without the need for the chipmunks, dogs barking or droning sappy ballads.
Lite, fun and fresh, Tinsel & Tunes will bring a smile to your face as you hear some of your favorites performed both traditionally and with artistic melodic updates.
Quoi de neuf dans la dernière version ?
Welcome to version 2.1! Okay, so we made some changes under the hood that will improve performance, but have no impact on how you use the app. Plus, we updated our stream for the brand new crystal clear, sparkling like the freshly fallen snow, digital broadcast! Plus, now you can choose the quality of your fire. Yes, you read that right. If you'd like the video, um, fire to be in HD, Low-Quality, or just a photo, you can toggle that in the upper right corner of the screen.
