Ukulele 101 - Getting Started

The Ukulele 101 instructional video series began life as a weekly online video lesson but is now being brought to you via our Apple TV app. Look for more to come in this series of apps including (but not limited to) Christmas Songs, Campfire Songs, Nursery Rhymes, Beatles Songs, and many more. We hope you enjoy playing and singing along with Dave and learning to play your ukulele!

This "Getting Started" app is for beginning ukulele players. You'll learn the parts of your "uke", how to tune the instrument and other basic information before diving into your very first song, "Row, Row, Row Your Boat". Subsequent lessons include "London Bridge", "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", "Baa Baa Black Sheep" and "You Are My Sunshine". At the end of this course you'll be able to impress and entertain friends and family!

Dave Reinhart is a singer/songwriter and multi-faceted musician residing in Colorado Springs, CO. Starting with guitar at the age of 5 Dave has mastered many instruments throughout his lifetime and has written, produced and recorded over 10 albums of material.

One of Dave's greatest pleasures is playing the ukulele. It's small, it's fun, and you can take it anywhere. People love to hear the ukulele played as well. Now Dave wants to teach you to play the ukulele so that you and your friends can join in and experience the fun as well!
