Wellenreiter is a curated internet-radio app, built ground-up for iOS 26.
Hand-picked European stations alongside the entire SomaFM and Radio Paradise networks, plus the radio-browser community catalog (~600 stations across genre slices: Trending, Top in Germany, Jazz, Classical, Electronic, News).
• Lock-screen and Control-Center transport — pause, resume, AirPlay, Bluetooth.
• Live Activities show the currently playing track on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.
• Full CarPlay support: browse, favorites, recently played.
• iPad-shaped layouts: sidebar navigation, station-tile grid, centred NowPlaying sheet.
• Native macOS app — menu bar mini-player, ⌘P play/pause, ⌘. stop.
• Offline favorites synced across your devices via iCloud.
• Spotlight + Siri + App Intents support: "Play SomaFM Groove Salad" works.
• Track titles surface from the live stream's ICY metadata, properly typeset.
This is a complete ground-up rewrite of the original Wellenreiter, modernised for iOS 26 / iPadOS 26 / macOS Tahoe. No tracking, no ads, no in-app purchases. Just radio.
