Powered by EOTopo 2026, Australia’s most advanced vector topographic mapset, ExplorOz Traveller provides consistent, detailed mapping from city streets to the most remote tracks.
EOTopo maps are compiled and verified by the ExplorOz team, combining authoritative national datasets with on-the-ground fieldwork.
A unique multi-scale system adapts seamlessly — from clear street detail in towns to enhanced tracks, access routes and terrain beyond urban areas — so the map always suits how and where you’re travelling.
When online, Traveller also provides street mapping and satellite imagery for additional context in towns and built-up areas, complementing the EOTopo topographic maps used for travel and exploration.

Traveller includes 107,000+ mapped Places designed to help you orient quickly and make good decisions wherever you are — whether you’re arriving at a remote camp, a trailhead, or a town you’ve never visited.
Places include campsites, trailheads, recreation areas, heritage sites, towns, waterways and essential services such as fuel, toilets, dump points, pubs, water points and medical services.
Because everything sits on the same detailed map, you can immediately see road types, track access, permit areas, land boundaries, locked gates and no-access zones — even when offline.
PERSONAL PLACES & TRIP PLANNING
Create and save up to 1,000 Personal Places, organise them into folders, add notes and plan journeys your way.
Use the built-in navigation tools to plan routes online, then save turn-by-turn route navigation for offline use — ideal for remote travel with no mobile coverage.
TRACKING & JOURNEYS
Automatically record your travels with daily track logs, trip statistics and overnight locations.
Optional Membership adds live tracking, allowing friends and family to follow your progress, plus journey sharing, GPX export and desktop web access via the Traveller Web App.
