Now by Geepers is an App that allows you to create a unique user-name to which you link your real time location via your mobile phone.
Sharing your location helps with meet ups between friends, getting notified of things around you, being able to easily provide a precise location when there is no appropriate street address, and a host of other purposes.

Your .Now location can be shared with others via the website geepers.com. Sharing is governed by privacy settings that you control. This allows you to determine precisely who you wish to share your location with; with a range from no one, to selected individuals to everyone. Your actual locations can be updated manually or automatically at pre-determined intervals to give you further control of how .Now reflects your location.

With your unique username you can also use geepers.com to create a wide range of static locations such as .Home, .Work or .Meet as examples.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
