Orienteer is a navigation app that encourages exploration and discovery. It will provide directions to a destination in the form of a bearing and distance, and leaves it to you to find the most interesting or effective path.

Key features of Orienteer include:

- Destination autocomplete via the Google Places API
- Support for manually entered coordinate pairs
- Full offline functionality for navigation to any place stored in History, or a manually entered location
- An Apple Watch app, so you can easily navigate while walking or cycling without pulling out your phone
- Privacy-preserving options, including the ability to disable History or the use of your location in search queries

Orienteer does not use any in-app purchases and is 100% ad-free.

Please note: Orienteer provides "as the crow flies" directions, and you are responsible for ensuring that you can safely and legally follow its advice. Orienteer will not warn you if your route takes you through obstacles such as active highways, bodies of water, or secretive governmental research facilities.

Orienteer now supports determining your orientation based on your direction of movement, as determined by your device's GPS system. This results in significantly more accurate direction indication when in a moving vehicle. This release also allows you to auto-select orientation modes based on your speed, as well as a "Detailed information" mode that will show more data about your device's positioning sensors.
