Parking Finder uses a three-layer locating system to ensure you always find your vehicle efficiently:
Layer 1 — GPS Precision
Records your exact GPS coordinates upon parking, achieving ±5m accuracy in open-sky environments.
Layer 2 — Live Compass Navigation
Uses the device gyroscope and magnetometer to compute real-time bearing to your parking spot. Arrow accuracy: ±3°. Works completely offline.
Layer 3 — Photo + Text Notes
Document floor numbers, zone labels, and surrounding landmarks as a third information backup.

• Map Rendering: MapKit (offline base layer available)
• Data Storage: Local JSON, 0 bytes uploaded to any server
• Compatibility: iOS 16.0+
Privacy by Design (Minimal Permissions):
• Location: "While Using" only — no background tracking
• Camera: Optional — only for capturing parking spot photos
• Photo Library: Optional — only for selecting existing photos
