PeePal is proudly powered by Refuge Restrooms, a free, open-source project dedicated to providing safe restroom access for transgender, intersex, and gender-nonconforming individuals. Their community-driven database is built on the belief that everyone deserves to feel safe while attending to their most basic human needs. At long last, v1.0!

When I wrote this app as a bright-eyed college student, I never expected it to have hundreds of downloads years later. In honor of all the users that stuck with it, PeePal is now what it was always intended to be.

New in this version:
- A fresh new look! Everything is now smoother, more polished, and more stable
- Restrooms now stick around and even cluster when they're close together
- Restrooms you've seen before are saved, so the app works even with slow internet
- No more limits on the map! You can now rotate and even go 3D
- A new filter for changing tables
- New settings to control dark mode, satellite imagery, traffic, and Liquid Glass

Please note that this update does raise the minimum supported iOS version to 17.4.
