WeWALK: Your Smart Mobility Companion for Accessible Navigation
WeWALK is an innovative mobility platform developed by blind people for visually impaired and low-vision individuals. With the WeWALK Smart Cane and WeWALK App, you can confidently navigate your surroundings, discover nearby locations, and access a range of accessible services—all designed to enhance your independence.
Key Features:
Step-by-Step Navigation
WeWALK offers accessible, step-by-step navigation, allowing visually impaired and low-vision users to easily find their way to any destination. You can explore different routes, choose your preferred path, and receive real-time instructions.
Public Transportation Integration
View nearby public transport stops, learn about the upcoming lines, and get notified when approaching your stop—ensuring you never miss your destination.
Smart Cane Integration
When paired with the WeWALK Smart Cane, the app takes navigation to the next level. The Smart Cane features enhanced obstacle detection (including head-height obstacles) and provides vibration feedback to ensure a safer, more confident journey.
Explore Mode
Activate the Explore mode to discover nearby places while walking. WeWALK will announce important locations such as restaurants, cafes, shops, and more as you pass by. Visually impaired users can enjoy exploring their surroundings without missing any important landmarks.

How It Works:
To start using WeWALK, simply search for your destination via the app and receive step-by-step guidance. You can also use the Explore feature to list nearby locations and navigate directly or save them for later.
With the public transport feature, visually impaired users can view the next bus or train lines, track their journey, and receive alerts when approaching their stop.
The app is fully optimized for screen readers and designed to provide an unobstructed navigation experience.

WeASSIST: Professional Visual Assistance
WeWALK users now have access to WeASSIST, our professional video assistance service. With WeASSIST, you can connect to a live professional assistant for real-time visual support. Whether you need help identifying objects, reading signs, or navigating unfamiliar places, WeASSIST is there to provide tailored guidance.
Currently available in select regions.

WeWALK's Commitment to Accessibility:
WeWALK is continuously evolving, thanks to collaborations with visually impaired individuals, organizations, and partners like Microsoft and Imperial College London. We are committed to making the world more accessible through innovative technology and community-driven development.

Important Information:
The WeWALK App requires access to your location in the background to provide core features like nearby place notifications and turn-by-turn navigation when your phone is locked.

Subscription and Renewal:
Enjoy WeWALK free for 14 days when you subscribe. After the trial period, payment will be charged to your App Store account. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
