Aftab Luminance
iPhone / Photo et vidéo
This app creates true HDR images that can be uploaded or downloaded via iTunes, making it useful for four main groups of users:
1-Lighting Designers
2-Architects
3-Photographers
4-Real Estate Professionals
For lighting designers, the app’s core function is to generate physically based HDR images in which every pixel represents an accurate luminance value. A simple calibration feature ensures more reliable results. Using the app, designers can measure luminance values—minimum, maximum, mean, and average—within any area of a scene. They can also create false-color images with different scales and palettes to assess both the quantity and quality of light in a space. Additionally, with GPS and motion sensor integration, the app can produce sun-path diagrams, calculate total sunlight hours, and estimate metrics such as Daylight Autonomy, Continuous Daylight Autonomy, and Daylight Factor for specific camera positions and orientations. It can even generate annual temporal daylight illuminance diagrams for a given point in space.
For architects, the same daylight availability analyses and sun-path diagrams are valuable tools when evaluating the natural lighting conditions of existing spaces.
For photographers, the HDR images captured by the app can be saved to a computer, enabling advanced post-processing with external software.
For real estate professionals and prospective buyers, the app provides insights into natural lighting conditions and sunlight exposure for individual spaces within a building, helping them better understand a property before making purchase decisions.
Quoi de neuf dans la dernière version ?
Along with fixing certain bugs and updating it for the latest iOS versions, a live false-color luminance measurement feature has been added as an extra option on the camera page.
