Unlike one-tap filters, GrainCraft uses a real layer stack. Add a grain layer, then a paper layer, then a light leak — each with its own blend mode and opacity.
Grain — Fine Grain, Coarse Grain, Silver Halide. Each is procedurally generated.
Paper — Rough Paper, Cotton Fiber, Aged Sheet.
Light Leak — Amber Leak, Magenta Haze, Cyan Edge.
Adaptive grain — GrainCraft reads your photo's luminance map and automatically applies more grain to shadows and less to highlights. The result looks like real film.
