No Photos: This is probably because you don't have any photos that were taken 'On This Day'. You can try changing the date and see if some photos appear.

Date Picker: Want to see what happened on the Holidays? Maybe your birthdays through the years? Just select any date using the picker on the top right.

'Single Tap': Refresh the photo list, all years, 5 photos per year.

'Double Tap': Fetch up to 100 photos from the 'tapped' year.

Use the icons on the bottom right of each photo to zoom/pan, favourite, share or delete.
