Grassland Cover Estimator

The Grassland Cover Estimator app enables the user to estimate the percentage of ground in a grassland or pasture that is covered by a specified component (e.g. a weed, a desirable plant, bare ground, litter, insect damage). It uses the ‘step-point analysis’ (Point Intercept) method to calculate % cover from a series of present/absent observations. The data is saved automatically and can be exported as a CSV file for later detailed analysis. A comprehensive User Guide is available.
