Stop getting distracted and become productive! Habit Farmer, a gamified pomodoro timer, will enable you to start a farm and grow your productivity. Plant a seed and start the timer to cut out distractions and focus on what is important to you. Studying, quiet work time, reading, cooking... the possibilities are endless! If you become distracted and leave the app for any reason, you will not get rewarded. This is the perfect way to fight cell-phone addiction and get more done in less time!

The application works like this:
1. Set the timer
2. Pick a crop
3. Start the timer
4. Focus while it grows
5. Get rewarded upon completion

As the clock ticks, you may notice your seed grow in several stages. After all, a seed doesn’t become a fully grown plant instantly! It will go from seed to sapling, seedling to sprout, sprout to plant, and plant to harvest. Each crop has different animations so be on the lookout!

THE POMODORO TECHNIQUE:

Habit Farmer works as a pomodoro timer. Drag the sun to set the time, pick a crop to grow, and start the timer to begin concentrating. If you concentrate without losing focus and allow the timer to finish, you will get rewarded with a harvested crop and points that can be used to expand your farm. If you break your concentration by leaving the app, your crop will wilter and you will not get rewarded at all. It is recommended to work in intervals of 20 to 30 minutes.

The pomodoro technique is a time management method. Using this technique, you should break your work or study time up into intervals. Decide how long you want to work and set a timer. When the timer is done, take a short break and repeat. This technique is especially useful for people with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) or ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder). By promising a reward for concentration, it will encourage you to make the best use of your time.

GET REWARDED:

Habit Farmer rewards you for your hard work! Each you successfully concentrate for a set period of time, you will get awarded with points. These points can be spent in a shop that allow you to purchase a variety of crops. The more expensive the crop, the more points you will get when that crop is grown! Each crop crop adds a unique feel to your farm so be sure to collect them all!
