Halaal is an Islamic application that aims to become the digital companion of every muslim, providing islamic features and utilities.Read below for the features!

Features:

1. Next prayer displayed with large letters at the top of the screen.
2. All prayer times are shown at the near bottom of hte screen in smaller font.
3. Sunnah and fard Rakaas per prayer (displayed by the 3 icons below the heading prayer).
4. The entire Quran as well as the ability to search ayahs and surahs.
5. Qiblah direction!

All the app needs is your location which is only stored in-memory during the lifetime of the app for the calculation of the prayer times.

Calendar

Halaal now has a calendar.

• Your events and the ones you've joined, in an agenda or a month view.
• Create events of your own — one-off or repeating — and set reminders
that understand a repeating series rather than a single date.
• Works signed out. Events you make stay on your device and sync to your
account whenever you decide to sign in.
• Hijri or Gregorian throughout, whichever you read by — including the
date pickers.
• Open an .ics from Mail, Files or any calendar app and Halaal offers to
add it. Halaal now appears in the system "Open with" list.
• Share an event as a link or as a calendar file.
• Organisers can see who is coming.
• Everything is saved on the device, so your calendar opens instantly and
reads fine offline.

Prayer times

• Pull to refresh now updates your location as well. Travelling no longer
leaves you on the city you came from until you restart the app.

Search

• Queries with extra spacing or punctuation no longer come back empty.
