For thousands of years, Christians around the world have engaged with Scripture on a daily basis, whether through hearing it read aloud in worship services or through reading it meditatively for themselves. As we read from the Daily Office/Liturgy of the Hours, we join together with the worldwide Church in reading and praying the same passages together each day, allowing us to live in the truth of scripture as a community.
