Welcome to version 5.2 of the app!
We’re excited to bring you version 5.2, packed with new features, enhancements, and important fixes.
One of the biggest improvements in this version is the introduction of a brand-new UI kit. This new design system ensures visual and behavioral consistency throughout the app and gives us a solid foundation for faster and more reliable UI updates in the future. You’ll notice a cleaner, more cohesive experience across multiple sections of the app.
Another major highlight is the new, enhanced track player structure. The audio player has been rebuilt to be more performant and resilient, resulting in smoother playback, better background behavior, and a more reliable listening experience overall.
In addition to these highlights, we’ve made several important improvements and fixes:
• Adjustments to the download feature now allow text-only or audio-only Bibles to be downloaded, giving you more flexibility and control.
• Permissions are now handled more intelligently based on the selected Bible during downloads.
• Fixed issues where copyright content was not displaying correctly on some devices, including specific fixes for India/Bharia content.
• Fixed multiple issues across Notes, Bookmarks, and Highlights sections.
• Updated the German translation in the Follow Jesus section.
• Applied general fixes to the Finnish translation.
• Fixed a screen flashing issue while reading the Bible.
• Resolved an issue that occurred when reopening the app directly into the Bible reading screen.
• Improved layout and stability in the Plans section.
• Added a "show password" option in the sign-In screen.
• Updated the Facebook sign-In option to improve reliability.
