v1.4.8
**Penalty estimates now follow OSHA's official severity-and-probability method.** The penalty estimator was upgraded to match how OSHA actually proposes fines.
- **Probability is now part of the estimate** — pick how likely an injury is (greater or lesser) alongside severity. Together they set the violation's gravity, exactly as OSHA's Field Operations Manual prescribes.
- **More accurate dollar figures** — the estimator uses OSHA's published Gravity-Based Penalty schedule for every severity-and-probability combination, and applies the size, good-faith, and history reductions in OSHA's prescribed order.
- **High-gravity violations are handled correctly** — good-faith credit is no longer applied where OSHA disallows it.
v1.4.6
Performance and reliability improvements under the hood.
