The Quist app displays the events in LGBTQ and HIV/AIDS history that happened on today's date in past years. We're bringing gay history, lesbian history, bisexual history, transgender history, and HIV history to the world to a new way.

Some Quist events are related to the LGBT community’s contributions to society, some illustrate how gender fluidity and same-sex relationships were treated throughout time, and some honor the sacrifices of the LGBTQ people who have advanced the cause.

Each GLBT history event has a description and image along with links to more information, links to related videos, and links to related products (books, CDs, DVDs).

You can sort and search Quist events by country, U.S. state, month and day, year, or keyword.

Quist has been featured on the Huffington Post, Buzzfeed, The List on ABC2, the Michelangelo Signorile Show on Sirius XM Progress, HuffPost Live, Queerty, Towleroad, Joe.My.God., and many more. It has been downloaded 17,000 times in less than a year.

Historical content is now available in the language of the country where it happened (in addition to English).
