We've been busy making UK Law Explorer bigger, faster, and more powerful. This update is a massive expansion — here's what's new!
MASSIVE DATABASE EXPANSION
Our database has grown nearly 7× — from 5,335 to over 35,500 pieces of legislation. You can now explore 18 different types of UK legislation, including Acts of the Scottish Parliament, Acts of Senedd Cymru, Northern Ireland Assembly Acts, Church Measures, and many more going back centuries.
NEW BROWSE FILTERS
• Tap the new filter icon in the Browse tab to narrow down results
• Filter by legislation type — all 18 types at your fingertips
• Filter by decade — from the 2020s all the way to pre-1960
• Combine both filters to find exactly what you need
• Your filter choices are remembered between sessions
FASTER & SMARTER
• The app now loads data once and shares it everywhere — no more duplicate downloads
• Search uses Apple's smartest matching — handles accents, case, and special characters effortlessly
• Faster app launch and lower memory usage across the board
RATE & FEEDBACK
We've added a gentle in-app prompt that asks if you're enjoying the app after a few positive actions. Love it? You can leave a review right from the prompt. Something not quite right? It'll point you straight to our support page — no hassle.
IMPROVED ACCESSIBILITY

• Streamlined architecture for better stability
• Cleaned up legacy code for a lighter, leaner app

• Fixed an edge case where titles with escaped quotes could display incorrectly
• Failed PDF downloads now show an alert with a "Try Again" option
• Improved our rock-solid reliability
We've also updated all documentation and squashed edge cases to keep that zero-crash track record going strong.
