Coco is an initiative of independent arts group Loco Project. We are a grassroots organisation focused on building sustainable artistic communities. We're all about connecting interesting and passionate people to build a more creative world.
Coco is free to use and doesn't have any ads. We offer an optional subscription service for a small fee. Once you download Coco, you can tour the app without making an account to see if it's your cup of tea before signing up. This is also the best way to understand all the features on offer.
FEATURE SUMMARY
Creative Posts:
• Post a song, story, poem, video or photo of your creative project for your peers to see. Who knows, you could go viral & become a creative icon!
Groups:
• Create and join creative groups you're passionate about and share content with your peers.
Events & Collaborations:
• Make and join local events or collaborations with like-minded creatives.
Podcast Player:
• Listen to the latest trending creative podcasts. We have added creative filters to make it easy for you and have literally hundreds of thousands of episodes for you to choose from.
Creative Filters:
Coco has over 50 creative filters which allow people to connect easily with peers in different creative disciplines including:
• Performing Artists – musicians, DJs, dancers, cabaret / street / theatre performers, screen / theatre / social media actors, circus artists, acroyoga, comedians, story tellers and poets.
• Visual Artists - photographers, painters, drawers, craftspeople, printmakers, sculptors, ceramic/ glass/ enamel / textile / street / tattoo / decorative / makeup artists, face / body painters, film / TV / social media directors / producers / editors, camera operators and fashion / hair stylists.
• Designers – architects, fashion costume, jewellery, interior, furniture, set, graphic, visual, web, illustrators, animation, motion graphics, SFX, VFX, UI/ UX, multimedia, industrial, product, game, landscape architects, sound and lighting.
• Other creatives - music producers, writers, song writers, composers, broadcasting producers, podcasters, conceptual / installation artists, curators, event organisers, promoters, models, art / creative directors and entrepreneurs.

• Intros caters to people looking for collaborators, gigs or work opportunities.
• Simply turn on the “opt in” feature to allow your peers to send you a direct enquiry or invitations.
Location Filters:
• Change your location to anywhere in the world so you can connect with locals in other cities and countries, perfect if you are planning a trip or trying to find work overseas.
Privacy:
• Maintaining a high level of respect in our community is our top priority.
• Your personal details will be kept secure and private.
• People cannot connect with you unless you choose to connect with them or accept their invitation.
• We have a report user button and a team working to review and remove inappropriate users.
