We're constantly improving Hornet to help you connect better. This update brings a smoother, faster experience with powerful new ways to stand out and discover.
The team shipped a lot this cycle. Filters, redesigns, and performance wins. Plus a generous helping of bug fixes that nobody asked for but everyone needed.
- The chat input bar has been redesigned with a fresh look. It's cleaner, more modern, and somehow the team argued about it for three days. Worth it.
- You can now filter by community preferences and edit them directly from your profile. The grid now shows you exactly who you're looking for.
- Profiles now open faster — you'll see faces sooner and wait less. The devs called this "performance optimization." We call it "no more staring at a loading spinner."
- Fixed an audio session bug that would reset mid-call. Your video chats should now stay smooth from hello to goodbye, no mysterious silences included.
- MAX subscribers now correctly show their visibility status in the grid. It was showing the wrong thing before. We noticed. We fixed it. You're welcome.
- Fixed a pop-up panel that would collapse unexpectedly on certain screens. The drama was not appreciated.
- Fixed the missing back button when opening a profile from a moment in the feed carousel. You were trapped. We let you out.
- Fixed an empty cache page that appeared when returning from certain scroll states. It was just a blank page staring back at you. That's not a feature.
- Fixed the selected tab indicator in dark mode — it was completely invisible. Like a ghost, but less fun.
We've also fixed bugs and improved overall performance of the app. We'll keep updating Hornet to make connecting with the community faster and more reliable.
