Yap is a app by and for the Alumni community of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow, India. It has location, interest and profession based chat rooms where trusted and verified IETians can be a part of.

Yap acts as a official chat app for our alumni base. One needs to be a registered alumni to use this app. You can register as alumni on our official website https://iethub.org

This release includes:
- Enhancements to help quickly report abuse/user. Specifically, now the app has following new features: - A agreement detailing Yap's policies. - Ability to report abuse, which will be immediately acted upon by our dedicated compliance officer. - Ability to report a user, which will be immediately reviewed by our compliance officer. - Ability for a user to block another user, which removes the other user's ability to message the subject.
- Better notifications management. Opening the app now clears all the pending notifications in the notification tray
- Better image cache management
