Based in historic Charleston we are experts in all realms of unique & rare antique, vintage, and contemporary objects of value.
With over forty years of industry experience, we offer our clients the personal service they expect from a regional auction house with results that match and often exceed those of larger firms. CEA president and auctioneer is a lifelong Charlestonian, with family ties going back generations. Our senior appraiser has worked in the antique & auction industry for over 40 years; and our in-house conservator was trained in Europe in the art of preserving and restoring fine art and antiques. Our team’s extensive knowledge of business, fine art, and antiques position CEA as one of Charleston’s finest auction houses.
We have worked hard to establish a reputation of providing fair, professional and practical assistance to clients wishing to have their collections appraised or offered at auction.
We have grown significantly over the years, and we now offer a multi-room gallery in Mount Pleasant. This space will be dedicated to Auction previews, as well as, open space to meet with local current & potential bidders, consignors, and appraisal clients.
The CEA team takes the utmost pride in every auction. We diligently inspect research and evaluate each item. We use detailed digital photography for all online sales and promotions. Our use of multiple auction platforms ensures the most clients view and bid on auction items. We continue to improve and expand our services to better serve our clients.

We dedicate our expertise, world market knowledge, and global outreach to every sale.
