Hiring a certified guide means you’re going out with someone who has been trained to a high standard (IFMGA/AMGA, PMBIA, and on and on). Guides have a great responsibility: not only do they need to make sure you stay safe trying something new, they also take care of the logistics, have backup plans for backup plans should the weather not comply, show you hidden gems and less explored places, teach you about the local area, and most of all, set you up for success. 1% FOR THE PLANET & GUIDE DIVERSITY EDUCATION FUND

We invest in the people and places where we recreate. 1% of our gross sales goes to the environmental nonprofits, Access Fund and Protect Our Winters. Another 1% goes towards guide education grants, which help pay for training and certification of the guides we work with. Half of these grants are allocated to female and BIPOC guides.
