The 2020 NFHS Football Deluxe product contains 8 plays to highlight officials’ duties and responsibilities, 100 rule references animations, and 7 evaluation scenarios. The plays contain mechanics for crew sizes of 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. Additional rules and evaluations will be added and released as updates.

Officials Mechanics: 8 plays (Kickoff, Onside Kick, Punt, Field Goal, Long Pass, Run Up the Middle, Goal Line Going In, and Goal Line Going Out) present the proper positioning and fields of view of the officials as these plays evolve. You will also see the duties and responsibilities of each official as extracted from various sources and best practices.

Rules: The program presents an animation to help understand the rule. Some rules are presented to show variations of the rule and some include animations demonstrating “this is/this is not” type comparisons. Rules can be viewed in an alphabetical list or in a rule book view.

Evaluations: Scenarios are provided to exercise the officials’ knowledge of rules and penalty enforcement. The play will be presented; you will see which official threw the flag(s); and a series of questions will be presented regarding enforcement. A score will be generated and incorrect responses will be indicated along with references.
